Dear sports friends,

Reference the Beijing Olympic Games Synchronized Swimming Qualification Tournament, some update information for you as follow:

1.Appointment of Judges

Each Federation may send a maximum of two (2) FINA “A” and/or “B” judges, that are born 1948 or later, and who have passed the FINA judges’ test in FINA Judges’ School Judges should not be those, that were qualified to judge at the Olympic Games 2008.

2.Participation

All federations affiliated to FINA are eligible to participate except the champions of five Continental Championships (not applied to the host federation). Each federation shall be entitled to enter one (1) duet, one (1) team. Competitors younger than fifteen (15) years of age (on December 31st on the year of 2008) shall not be permitted to compete at the Event.

Each Federation is entitled to participate with maximum of ten athletes, if participating in Team or Team and Duet events and with maximum of three athletes, if participating in Duet event.

3.Entries

All entry forms must be completed in quadruplicate. One copy to FINA Office, two copies to the Organizing committee and the remaining copy to be retained by the sender. Faxed copies must be supported with original forms to the Organizing Committee.

4.Music Accompaniments

Music should be on CD or MD.

Competition CDs or MDs should be received by Manager Synchronized Swimming no later than 1 April 2008.
